This is one of my favorite songs written by the Who.
Perhaps one of their last hurrahs before Keith Moon died.
It is rumored that the tune is about Daltry getting drunk
and running into the upstart punk rock fellow named Johnny Rotten,
to whom Roger asked, “Who the fuck are you?”

This is my favorite song by The Who. Great vocals by Daltrey. I believe Peter Townsend wrote it, though.

That is highly possible about Townshend writing it. I am kinda of upset about how the sound quality of the video became degraded, distorted. My video files are sometimes as big a 1 gig, and I have to downsize them. That causes terrible distortion of sound..Makes it unclear, mechanized.

I know what you mean. I used to put videos of my music on youtube, but I have low quality recordings to begin with that become even lower quality so I don’t bother anymore. A couple of them sound like they are playing in a wind tunnel. 🙂
