Working Class Hero (cover)

Working Class Hero. Tried to spice this up a little bit. Adding an octave guitar part, and a bit of percussion. I changed just a few lines, which I will emphasize. Can you tell which ones? (lyrics) As soon as you’re born they make you feel small By giving you no time instead of it all ‘Til the pain is so big you feel nothing at all A working class hero is something to be A working class hero is something to []

Your Mother Should Know (cover song)

Your Mother Should Know! If you do not know the Album, BBC program, or the Band that originally did this number, then you should contact your Mum, for she should know. Band Member quote, “We wrote the first 50 songs and the rest disappeared into the mists of time.”

Singin’ So Someone Will Sing Back (new original tune)

Singin’ So Someone Will Sing Back! (lyrics) I’m Singin’ So Someone will Sing Back and I’m scared that I will hear them. Will I See? How I see? What I See? How I See? Who I See. I am pleased if only one feeling is understood just by one person. Watch It! How I See. Who I See. What I See. How I See. What I See. Who I See: the un-nameable, un-corruptible. she’s still Magical, still magical… I’m drawing to pass []

Missing Pieces (cover)

Missing Pieces. (lyrics) I was in the shower so I could not tell my nose was bleeding Dripped down my body to the floor right below my feet and I looked in the mirror at my face, I thought I had a disease And there’s a woman with her fingers in my ice box She peeked around the corner and asked me if I’m okay She put the ice upon my tongue and then it melted away Alright, oak floor, soft pine []

Piggy in the Mirror (cure cover)

Piggy in the Mirror. Most folks know the Cure these days from their cute love songs and Robert Smith- the lead singer- decked out in red lipstick, spiked black hair, and a powdered face. One might ask, “How could this fellow be considered Goth?” Well I offer this song as an explanation. Written in 1984 on a head full of LSD, I derive the idea that Robert would have been a bored serial killer if he had not become a pop icon. []

Letter for Jack, Cash on Delivery (new original song)

Letter for Jack, Cash on Delivery. (lyrics) I understand you like the struggle I know you wanna  keep it fresh That you  dig the sounds dirty and I have no life. Am I cheating? Are we on a level playing field? Am I cheating? Are we on a level playing field? Fame is an Opiate. You’ll never be prepared. Are you, your image? Or is that your Real Self up there? Am I cheating? or are we on a level playing field? []

Hypocritical Kiss (cover)

Hypocritical Kiss. (lyrics) My temper got the best of me And when I said that I mean I know every single thing That I said was true And I know that you’re mad at me But if you’re thinking like that I think you’ll see that you’re Mad at you too And I know the feeling’s strong Strong enough to forget about All that I’ve been through And it sounds obscene but Loud words never bothered Me like they do to you []

So Far From Your Weapon (dead weather cover)

So Far From Your Weapon. Trying to redeem myself from the last tune. Tired now. I am just a bit off today. (lyrics) There’s a bullet in my pocket burning a hole You’re so far from your weapon And the place you were born There’s a bullet in my pocket burning a hole You’re so far from your weapon And you want to go home I try to give you whiskey But it never do work Suddenly, you’re beggin me To do []

Cat Claw (the kills cover) for Copper Cranes

Cat Claw. Alright so… Copper Cranes and I have similar tastes in music, being groups associated with Jack White. For awhile I had been searching for a song by a group called ‘the Kills’ who shares the same front-person as the group called the Dead Weather. The artist’s name is Alison Mosshart. I have felt for awhile the Jack brings out something edgy in her that I do not hear in “the Kills.” Copper Cranes suggested to listen to the early releases. []

I Mean to Thank You! (new original song for my roadie)

You Don’t Understand Me (raconteurs cover)

You Don’t Understand Me. (I dunno..feeling insecure on the vocals on this one…) lyrics You don’t understand me But if the feeling was right You might comprehend me And why do you feel the need to tease me Why don’t you turn it around It might be easier to please me And there’s always another point of view A better way to do the things we do And how can you know me And I know you. If nothing is true Why []
