    • Of course as a guitar player, I will always admire Marr. I enjoy his picking style. The progressions he used in the Smiths were hyped up folk chords. I feel Marr is still relevant. Funny how Johnny looks like a guitar slinging Al Pacino circa Scarface. I am not sure what to think of Morrisey. he was limited in that the Smiths catalog was in litigation in Britain and he was hiding out in America to avoid any judicial judgments. As a former band mate of mine said, ” I love his singing, Baritone without being Jim Morrison.”
