I was raised in Chicago and love your painting. The colors are fantastic. Beautiful work, Ted.

Thank You! This is the best of the 3, so far.
I do not feel like I have quite hit the right gear,
between being loose and fast, and yet having enough restraint
for the image to be crisp. What I miss about Chicago,
is the Museum at the Chicago Institute of the Arts..
I could live there for years drawing and never get it all done. 🙂
So glad , you could see Chicago in these. I have a friend from there
who has yet to see these, I thought someone from Chicago should give me
the seal of approval, and YOU DID THAT! COOL!

Is your work in a gallery? You’re amazing. How long does a painting usually take you? You’re whipping these beauties out like pancakes! 😮

I used to know how to make pancakes really well and fast, Grandma taught me how… I was in negotiations with a local gallery, but we decided that for now, showing there would not be economically viable for both parties. BUT, right after that I was invited to do a show in a city about 90 miles from here. Eight pieces of the hip hop dancer series, were shipped, Two have sold, apparently, and the opening is not until September 30th.. If everything goes well, down the line, I might have a one man show there! So fun and cool!
