Still kicked off in 2 years. Poor Moe Tucker, in the rock n roll
hall of fame, met her in 1997 at a gig. Gave her a ‘drum’ painting.
Asked her why she was playin’ underage clubs.
She said, “I am 46, over the hill, have to book my own gigs,
no one wants to hear me play.” I saw her on guitar doing Hey Bo Didley!
She put the painting, the drum kit, the amps, and guitars in
the back of her station wagon. Then her and her one band-mate drove off.
I still cheese that someone near Warhol has a painting of mine, though
she is not in contact with me, but sends Xmas Emails to a dear friend of mine
each year..
