I’m a little irritable today so keep that mind. Sometimes I think we need to pick our battles. I know I’ve been called a lot worse than “Secretary” in my working years. I’ve certainly been treated worse. I remember becoming a Manager the same time as a man the same age as me. We were friendly, he was pretty much an open book. He definitely wouldn’t be able to play poker. About 6 months in to our new jobs he said ” Isn’t it great how the Owner and District Manager (both female) take us out for lunch every month and we get paid for it?” Huh?! Yeah, I was the only one not going for 2 to 3 hour paid lunches with the girls. Only the male Managers were invited individually. I have to say it isn’t that I wanted to spend time with them it’s that they didn’t take me as seriously as the men. One of which slept for a majority of his shift and smoked cigarettes for the rest. lol Love the art work as usual!

Hey, thank for the comment. What I had about the title of the piece, is that my sister is an Administrator. She says, and I tend to agree, that you should not piss off the women who really run the show, the so-called secretaries, because if you do, they will flood you with a barrage of paperwork that you will drown trying to get out from under it. Says, “Don’t Poke the Bears!” The pay sucks, though, too much work, too little time. Massive pay inequality in the world. I am gonna stop with that, folks will not want to hear a giant political ramblin’ diatribe. 🙂

Great! Sheldon, write the book! or everyday jot down, notes little brief vignettes along that them…I just started a daily rhyme book..Where every day, I write nonsensical rhymes, alliteration, and consonance, to be made sense of later for song lyrics..
