Some of your work reminds me of my father’s. I wish he still sketched or painted. His work wasn’t as thought provoking as yours is, he stuck to sail boats, big detailed ships and stormy seas. Maybe there was more to it but he kept it to himself. Hmmm. I’m not asking. lol

What I visualized when you said this, is that his work looked like “William Turner”. Who was quite good!

I’ll have to look at his work. I wish I could find some of my dad’s work he’s hidden it for some reason. I only have sketches from when he was 17 and in the Navy. I laughed when I found them. My father is a very private, modest, kind of prudish person. He wouldn’t even take his shirt off around us in the summer. lol I think I put them in one of my posts. They are of a few “women” he may have seen on shore leave.
