Freakin fantastic, Ted! Do you have a gallery that represents you?

No , I have no gallery representation. I am so happy you noticed the quality of this. For some reason, I was taken to do an image of my friend. I really did not realize how free this was going to feel. Along with the other one. I had a break the rules, screw form, play with color type of attitude. Fast loose. It was as if , I had not missed a beat in my time away from images. Going to do more. I have had 2 offers so far to make either prints of these, or t shirts.. I told them let the paint dry..Told the guy, we will talk a bit later.. Happiness to me!!!

Make the prints and tees yourself? Then again you’d have to flog them and that is the hardest part. Have you licensed anything before? Dollars up front always worked for me. I got diddled on a “price per unit sold” deal, as there is never anyway of knowing if the sold number they give you is true and then there is the argument about what happens to unsold units they sell off at a discount rate etc.
Have you ever had a gallery? Your work is so good it deserves to be seen!

I haven’t licensed anything before..I may have to ask for your counsel in these matters if it should ever arise. The only time that I had a piece really seen was a little over a year ago, I had a picture in a Museum, by the Golden Gate Park, the De Young Museum, i think, can’t remember. I am happy to work on my craft, and maybe some day, I will have some sort of huge audience. Having your attention is one of those motivators, keeps me going.

I’m glad, Ted. I’m no slouch when it comes to art and art history, so my confidence in your work isn’t flattery.
Would be glad to help out with advice if you do get a deal. Sometimes it is worth going that way for the exposure, even if the returns are low.

Even though, you haven’t heard from me very quickly, I have thought of this statement throughout the day.. The idea that you are no slouch, not flattery. From my point of view, your comment is VALIDATION. That rocks! On the business end, I will seek your counsel if anything turns up.

Hey Janet! After seeing a lot of your work, I realized it is completely okay to let go with the color. Let rules be damned, I will be an expressionist wild beast!

That pleases me very much and I totally agree…throw the bloody rules out of the window….we are artists…and so should be able to stretch and go for it:)
