      • Lovely to meet you too, Ted. I’ve spent much of my English morning (yeah – not at all related to an English Muffin) listening to your songs on Soundcloud. Sorry – I scrawled graffiti on some of them. Are the ones at the bottom the oldest (as in when you recorded them). I started at the oldest and worked my way up and I could feel (hear) you getting better and better. Way to go, man! 🙂
Hope you’re having a great day – Robert.
Oh, by the way – I loved that painting you did of Mia – spot on!

      • Wow, Thank so Much for Listening to the tunes on Soundcloud. Awesome that you heard the progression..Though, I almost don’t want you to torture yourself with old stuff..Listen to the newer ones..Great that you dig the Mia image, used my imagination, tried to tap into the whole impressionist thing…

      • I love hearing the progression. Surely that’s what you put them there for, in that order – so that people could appreciate that you are getting better all the time (better, better ahhhh-ahhhh).
You have something really special going there with your art too, Ted. I’d love to know how you got from b/w to full colour (yeah, I know – I’m English – hence the extra ‘u’)! Are you able to see it in colour before you start and if so – wow!

      • Mia’s portrait, was pure imagination.. The colors were what I imagine her to be and then I react to the colors, intuitively trying to push them without completely losing the form. What is allowing me to work this way, is that all my pieces are incredibly small.. No larger than 9 inches by 12 inches.. Oh , yeah, I can see parts in color before I lay the color in, then just react to it..

      • I love what you’re saying Ted. It leads me to the inescapable conclusion that your work (your inner world) is fundamentally different from mine. And I love that! I see colour, but I rarely extrapolate b/w into colour and for you to be able to do that is a beautiful gift. Cherish it.
Yeah, I see that this piece is 5 inch square, which is pretty small, but you do an awfully pretty thing with that space. Do you sell your stuff? Not to me – I’m an observer, not an owner. But I’m pretty sure you would get a ready market for beauty like this. I imagine that you’re the kind of guy that would give as a gift. I sense an immense kindness in you. Okay, I’m going to stop now before I get too … something or other. 🙂
Oh – one last thing – have you seen this guy’s stuff:
