Alright is another attempt, albeit not very thought out,
to get the sound of those old blues dudes who allegedly made those
contractual obligations with the dark side and got put out on old
78 records. Just an aside, I am still stone cold clean and sober, hope
to carry that trend out for the rest of my daze.

Grateful and thankful (pats himself on the back). Yeah, this is what I did after you mentioned a few of the blues songs I could do. By accident lead me to this one, so I did it. Do you think it sounds a bit scratchy? I put the guitar amp under the snare drum, and miked it. So the snare would rattle. One mono track, one stereo track.

Cool, glad you did this one. I can hear the rattle, but there is also a buzz/vibration/hum being picked up intermittently with the vocals, also at the very beginning. It’s not constant, almost like the slightest bit of feedback. But hey, that’s just me. I do like the retro feel though. It’s such a great song. 🙂

Great, good to know what you heard. I am thinking of taking it easy today. My mind was warped by the concentration and computer struggles of yesterday. I dunno.. part of me makes it impossible do nothing.

Hey you said to do that years passing by blues tune. I saw it online done by Albert King. Who I totally dig. Though his version is massive long. My fave Albert King album is live on a Sunday night in San Francisco. It came out in the early sixties. So, I choose instead to do “Personal Manager”. I put the back story in the post. It is a clean recording. Passing out now..I am pretty well spent, have stuff to do for about 2 days, (perhaps).
