Helpless (cover)

Helpless.

(lyrics)
There is a town in north Ontario,
With dream comfort memory to spare,
And in my mind
I still need a place to go,
All my changes were there.

Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us

Helpless, helpless, helpless
Baby can you hear me now?
The chains are locked
and tied across the door,
Baby, sing with me somehow.

Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us

Helpless, helpless, helpless.

(just as an aside.. i think my site is a damn bargain today..though hopefully not in the bargain bin…)

    • Once again, thank you for spending time to listen. I read your post about all of the humans putting a drop in the stream of the internet, to be remembered, to hope to have a sort of longevity. I think of that often. Will anything I do last hundreds of years?

      • Yes. All the kindness and love and smiles and music you share will have a positive impact on those you encounter and the good feeling will travel through those they encounter, and on and on through time. It’s quite an achievement 😀
