I just listened to the whole album. Nice variety of songs, great guitar work, and the vocals are right up my alley. (Stylistically, it reminds me of Tom Petty in places – a compliment in my book!) π
Thank you very much for taking the time to listen to the whole thing. I am heavily complimented that you dig my vocals and guitar work. Yes, I take the Tom Petty reference as a huge PLUS!
Yeah! Johnny and the Listen to the tape are the more acoustic numbers. It is strange but I cannot hear them in my head when you mention the songs. They are that fresh to me, still.
It makes sense that you would tune in to my acoustic pieces. I have been mainly playing acoustics for 30 years. Just recently branching out with my hollow-body electric. I will get used to being plugged in, eventually.
I will get there. The new instrument helps with fretting. My hands can go places that they could never travel on an acoustic. I try to feel the instrument resonate. I am used to the sound of a ringing acoustic. Not yet amplification.
I can hear it! Will come back to this after dinner and have a good long listen. π Kate

Resonant Sunset has some elements that remind me of Radio Head. I really like it.

Wow Great! Yeah it is the trippy sounds in the chorus that probably give it that feel. I was trying to do a psychedelic sound.

Strange. I guess that makes them the opposite of ear-worms. Maybe ear-spectres?

PS I hadn’t really picked up on them being more acoustic. I think I liked their tunes best out of them all.

Okay, that is interesting. There must be a lot to get used to in making that transition.
