Singin’ So Someone Will Sing Back (new original tune)

Singin’ So Someone Will Sing Back!

(lyrics)
I’m Singin’ So Someone will Sing Back
and I’m scared that I will hear them.
Will I See? How I see? What I See?
How I See? Who I See.
I am pleased if only one feeling is understood just by one person.

Watch It!
How I See. Who I See. What I See.
How I See. What I See.
Who I See:

the un-nameable, un-corruptible.
she’s still Magical, still magical…
I’m drawing to pass the time of day. I threw years of my life away.
Who I See. What I See. How I See.
What I See.
Who I See:

the un-nameable, un-corruptible, still magical,
still magical building Walls of Fear.

I’m Singin’ So Someone Will Sing Back!
I’m singin’ So Someone Will Sing Back!

  1. Ted, wonderful lyrics, fun original. Art is just that way, this is so true, “I am pleased if only one feeling is understood just by one person”. I hope you’ve been enjoying your day, certainly very productive! ~ Mia

    • I am having a happy day. I am finally getting into make songs, somehow, have a better understanding. Some of those lyrics were jotted down one night right before I drifted off into sleep. I am beginning to be able to put whatever I write into music, not matter what it is..I make the music, look around for something to sing…

  2. Very cool, I’m pleased to read that you’re having a happy day. Artistic energy is definitely a wonderful thing. That’s great that you wrote the lyrics down, sometimes I depend on my memory, ha-ha, and everything slips away. Now I will even get up in the middle of the night and write down a thought so I don’t misplace it forever. You know who I have been listening to lately? Well I will tell you, because the guessing would be ridiculous, Son House! Crazy right? Wonderful stuff!

    • Son House is a great person to listen too. As a kid, I would hear all these British Bands, who were copping (stealing) blues legends stuff. I was too young to know that I was getting a diluted version. Someone I need to look up is Sister Rosestta Tharpe. I felt her stuff immediately. Within the first few seconds of hearing her voice and guitar, I KNEW that SHE ECLIPSED Chuck Berry. Instead of asking, “What would Chuck Berry do?” I should ask,”What would Sister Rosetta do?”

  3. For sure! They did indeed, this is terrible but I can’t help it, every time I think of Led Zeppelin, ugh, horrible of me I know. She is amazing! Can you believe her guitar playing? Ha-ha, asking the wrong person!
