Love it! It’s a hard song to listen to when you understand the lyrics and a lot of people do not. I’m a lyrics person, always have been. I wish I had the guts and talent you do!

Sometimes I am amused when I find out the lyrical content of a lot of popular music. This Cash song really hits it home. He was guilty of being a human tornado to everyone in his life. All the sadness and shame. I have felt all this, done the tornado thing to folks.

Even though it was written by someone else it fit him perfectly. I myself hurt many people around me. My mom passed unexpectedly before seeing me start my sobriety and maintain it for 7 years now. Even my father had tears in his eyes when he first saw the video. He was the same way until he was in his mid to late 30’s. It was his children and my mom that made him a better man. Most of today’s music I can’t identify with. lol

Thank you. I chose to do it alone and my way this time. For the first time I’m able to achieve 7 years. Knowing the reason why I was drinking helped also.
