Let It Bleed (stones cover)

Let It Bleed.

So today, I was looking for a song to do.
I came upon a list of songs that had been banned at one time or another in the United States.
I was surprised to find that the Everly Brothers song entitled,”Wake Up Lil Susie”, was stricken from
the airwaves in 1957. Other songs were not. This is my version of a song that perhaps could have
made the list. Mick Jagger had a knack for using lyrics that could be deemed offensive
to sell records. Quite the businessman.

  1. Love it! I love the trivia/history also. My father doesn’t believe me about “Wake up Lil Susie” but he was never a music person my mom was. You’re right about Mick Jagger I never really noticed the lyrics until recently. Thank you for the song.
