I wanted to drop everybody a note to explain where I have been
and what has been going on..
I have been very busy with music, a lot of it practice.
Drilling major keys in the circle of fifths for the fluent
in music of you out there.
Been practicing hours and hours a day, doing this on Bass,
which is a relatively new instrument of mine.
I am trying to get a good idea where the notes are,
being that it is only 4 strings, not 6 strings of the acoustic guitar.
Bass feels like playing with a giant 4 feet tall set of crayola crayons.
Just big big big colors, big strings, big notes.
Doing bunches of 1, 4, 5 progressions on the bass,in all major keys, a itty bit of chord work
to give it my personal flavor.
Also I have been dealing with getting new audio hardware, and learning how to use it.
The previous post is me working with new equipment, more microphones will be on the way.
David Troxell came by today. Studio work did not happen, we were not “feeling it” and the
new technical difficulties, which are getting worked out.
We played two, 45 minute sets back to back on in front of “Nick’s Bar”
for practice and fun. David’s voice got tired. I needed to get back to the studio
to work a lot things out. Tomorrow David and I plan to due studio recording here,
and piece together a set of his original music for the upcoming gigs….
Thank to everyone for understanding any delay in my communications with you..
cheers,
ted
