“The Ghost You Knew”
Hate in my veins, charring my bones.
If I could’ve killed with a glance,
You would have known.
Strange not to be in pain.
I’m not the ghost you once knew.
My soul is pure
and is as white as snow.
If you believe that you’re more gullible
than you know.
Strange not to be in pain.
I’m not the ghost you once knew.
Been reading my old verses,
can understand why folks won’t believe my words.
Maybe actions can.
If we met face to face,
I’d like to hear what you have to say.
It’s my bad.
It’s my fault.
Day to day,
I do not want to act the same.
