Staring at the Sun. I want to take a minute and make a comment that bares little relation to the cover song. I am heartened and amazed by the creative bunch of Poets, Musicians, Painters, Photographers, and all around Artists that I get to discover every single day here on WordPress. It is as if I am glancing into the souls of strangers. Sometimes I imagine everyone in the whole world have a psyche that screams out. I would never know it. []

Seether ( vercuca salt cover)

Seether. Okay, fair warning! This is a 1990’s punk song. It was performed by an all riot-girl group from nearby Chicago. I saw the group in Bloomington at a club called Second Story in that time period. It was written, I believe, by a lady named Kim Deal. So, legend has it that Kim wanted to sing about female anger. She believed she couldn’t describe really blatantly the rage women feel, therefore elected to call the emotion “Seether.” Odd that I do []
