The first atomic bomb was called, “Gadget”. It was detonated July 16th , 1945 at 5:30am, known as the ‘Trinity Test”. 71 years ago today. Einstein said,”We know how the 3rd world war will be fought. The fourth will likely be fought with rocks.”

“Commemorative Poem”
I was at confession.
My destiny to fall like petals off of a flower.
A flash. Thunder. Thrown in the air by heat.
My mind went blank.
A red circle formed in a ball of fire, a pillar of fire.
“MOTHER!!”
Pitch Black, No Sound, Carbonized People.
“HELP!”
But no one came.
The playground was a sea of fire, a river of dead bodies.
Lay me under the tree.
Licking the black rain off of it’s branches.
“I’m the only one…”
