There was something about it. She seemed so small, cold, and frail. The piece was one where it kept telling me what to do draw, that in a sense, it would never be finished… I eventually just stopped, though I kept seeing more stuff in it, leaving me to feel off balance, unsettled about her.

I know what you mean about the sense of frailty, Ted. Perhaps part of your reaction may be because she’s looking directly at you (?) She evokes a deire to respond to her that we, of course, can’t do. I think it’s perfect 🙂 One of my favorites.
