Cool. Love the architectural detail. Must look for the original.

I put this image, on the ‘wall of shame’ that I have, for drawings that did not quite work out..Glad that you appreciate my effort.

Fair enough to have a wall of shame. Just curious to know why you publish them?

I publish them because I made the effort to create the things, so I just put them out there anyway.

Good for you. Feedback is always instructional, especially if people like what you don’t.

Yes, you are correct. Part of the idea of my website , at least at the start, is to get people talking about what they see and hear from my stuff.

You are very courageous to put your work out there. At least in a gallery, people are generally polite, or say nothing. The web isn’t like that! Having said that WordPress seems to be a very civilised and respectful place in my experience.

I have never really done the gallery thing. Galleries were where my Artist friends and I would steal toilet paper, eat the food provided, perhaps a free drink, before we bolted to go home and create.

Funnily enough that was exactly how I used galleries, except for the toilet paper! When I was doing my ceramic design degree I went to a least two or three art openings a week. In the 80s they had the money to put on great dos! There was always bottled wine and a wonderful variety of finger foods. These days one is lucky to get a glass of cask wine. There is never any food. Lucky for me I don’t need the free feed any longer! 😊

Maybe there is some sort of unwritten code that all art students must follow concerning protocol at Openings. I didn’t get the memo that we were not supposed to steal toilet paper. 🙂

Ha ha ha! That was the only detail which was different in my history.
