Southern Man (live).
(lyrics)
Southern man
better keep your head
Don’t forget
what your good book said
Southern change
gonna come at last
Now your crosses
are burning fast
Southern man
I saw cotton
and I saw black
Tall white mansions
and little shacks.
Southern man
when will you
pay them back?
I heard screamin’
and bullwhips cracking
How long? How long?
Southern man
better keep your head
Don’t forget
what your good book said
Southern change
gonna come at last
Now your crosses
are burning fast
Southern man
Lily Belle,
your hair is golden brown
I’ve seen your black man
comin’ round
Swear by God
I’m gonna cut him down!
I heard screamin’
and bullwhips cracking
How long? How long?

Thank Mia! I decided that, for right now, I am going to do things Live on Acoustic and Singin’. That could be what I do best…The whole muti tracking thing is hit/miss for me. Another thing, I ran into a rapper/drummer from Detroit today, I gave him my info. He knew some of the recordings that I did for David Troxell, which gets a little local radio airplay. Told this young fellow, I was willing to be his sound engineer, if we can’t hook up on any other level..

Been busy drawing. When I sleep, it is very deep and peaceful.
