“for further irritation”, laughing so hard! Initially I read this as, “Congressional Sheep Therapy”, ha-ha. But it makes much better sense as “Sleep Therapy”. Oh gosh, would indeed put one to sleep, love the spin, great image and caption Ted! ~ Mia

Other good methods to rest is to turn on the weather radar, no sound and watch. If you have more problems sleeping, watch your computer defrag Full Screen.

It disgusts me that our elected representatives think so little of what is being enacted in parliament that they doze through it. Happens here and in the UK as well. No wonder people hate politicians so much. Imagine doing that in private industry and keeping your job? You’d be out the door !

That’s the truth! I just keep thinking of a cartoon from America in the 1920’s, that depicted these huge fat congressman in top coats with money spilling out of their pockets. The images on the bills were the leaders of big business. So they paid for , bought and sold.

I wonder if it will ever change? Even in our highly monitored societies corruption is rife. It is so sad.

I try to remain cognizant of what my country does. It bothers me on a deep level. I believe a lot of folks are aware, really of our leaders crimes against humanity, but do their damnedest to shut the thoughts out.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss. I get so upset at things I see on the news that I can go weeks avoiding it until I let my guard down for one reason or other. After watching a few innocuous nights I think I am strong enough to cope with it on a more regular basis again but realise I’ve been lulled into a false sense of security. It isn’t just the violence, cruelty and lies we are fed but the seeming joy the journalists get from reporting horrors as though they were entertainment. I particularly loath the announcements about the following story having images ‘that may upset some viewers’. My response to that is don’t bloody show them then! Argh! I get stressed just thinking about it.
