Resonant Sunset (new original song)

Resonant Sunset.

(lyrics)
You don’t belong (uh huh)
and You never will (mmhmm)
See? We were cursed from birth (yeah!)
And that left a large hole to fill (uh huh)
But, Man, Look at that Sunset!
It’s beyond words to describe.
Anyway,
I Feel You Resonate.
I Feel You Resonate.
Aw FUCK IT!
SCREW IT ALL TO HELL! (mmhmm?)
It’s me and my fretting hand,
Who cares? Who lives to tell? (uh huh)
I make no sense but I can change a dollar bill.
Hey, Now, Look at that Sunset!
It’s beyond words to describe.
I Feel You Resonate.
I Feel You Resonate.
I don’t belong (uh huh)
I don’t believe I ever will (mmhmm?)
I wonder who would want to (uh huh)
on a stage like that you could get yourself killed.
Folks use all sorts of things,
We all want to get our fill.
But, Look at that Sunset! (uh huh!)
Beyond words to describe.
I Feel You Resonate.
I Feel You Resonate.

      • Some of it, I think has to do with muscle memory. Yea, so that is why I do these drills. I will try to describe. It is as if music is somewhere in the ether, some kind of distant sound frequency, that can travel light years. High pitches travel farther than low ones. If I am to assume, that there are ‘spirits’, then it is a matter of dropping any ego bullshit on my part, tuning in, like what does my instrument want to say? Sometimes I feel their is no ownership of sound, music in a pure way. I can grab music from ‘out there” and someone on the other side of the globe tunes in to the same damn thing. I am no expert in this. Still learning, still grasping. The autopilot bit is the best! When a song comes out of you all at once, words sounds, and all you have to do is hit record. Of course , the rule is the recording device will fuck up, and it gets lost. Murphy’s rule/law.

      • Cool! Yeah, there must some basis in science to some of this, like Physics, sound frequencies, floating around. Imagine going to your favorite concert/band. The volume of the sound hits the audience a specific way, changes mood. In some cases, when the artist puts off evil shit, they can make the crowd riot. Here I go again, crowd mentality.
