“Return” a Waxing Poetics cover

Return.

a collage of friends that I had during the late 1980's, who were part of my soundtrack.

A few times within a life, folks are lucky to find a band
that was awesome, that never ever made it.
The Waxing Poetics came out of the Virginia Beach scene that I was slightly
related to, really slight. Anyway, unlike a lot of punk bands these dudes were
melodic. Mike Mills the bass player of R.E.M had a hand in their album, also
a producer I dig named Mitch Easter. Well, time has not been so good for the group.
They are unknown, no music cheat sheets online and only about two youtube videos of them.
Only having under 3000 views. In a strange way, I am happy that they are unknown,
and I am “in the know”, like some kinda Warhol/Velvet Underground deal.
Anyway, so happy to do the tune. I hope you enjoy it.!
